Peter Baxter M.A. (Western Ontario)

Peter Baxter is founder of Invest in People and Win International. He has a Master of Arts degree specializing in Sport Management and Sport Psychology from the University of Western Ontario as well as over 25 years experience within high School and university educational sport administration. He has taught at the University of Toronto and University of Western Ontario. Peter has coached both Hockey and Football at the University of Toronto Mississauga and the Wilfrid Laurier University Women's Hockey program. Peter recently completed his tenth season as Wilfrid Laurier University's Director of Athletics and Recreation. Peter puts strong emphasis on leadership development for Coaches, Athletes, in addition to student leaders within the program creating a variety of opportunities in the day-to-day activities of the department. Utilizing the Pre-Hire assessments for Coaches during the selection process, Peter has been able to hire 10 of 22 coaches on his Laurier Golden Hawk staff who also have experience coaching at Canada's National teams. During his time as Director Athletics, 23 OUA provincial university sport championships and 6 national championships have been won by Golden Hawk teams. In addition, renovations and expansions have taken place on Golden Hawk facilities including two renovations to the Athletic Complex totaling $7 million, a $1.9 million turf development of Alumni Field and the revitalization of University Stadium with a $5 million upgrade. Peter is also Chair of Football Canada Amateur Rules Committee and has been the Convenor of the OUA Football Conference since 1999. Mr. Baxter is currently Chef de Mission for Team Canada leading a delegation of 150 Canadian University student-athletes at the 2009 FISU Winter Universiade to be held in Harbin, China.
Dana Sinclair Ph.D. (Ott.), Ph.D. (Cantab.), R.Psych.
Consultant and Registered Psychologist
Dana A. Sinclair, is a registered psychologist who holds doctorates from the University of Cambridge as well as the University of Ottawa and is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. She is also a Certified Consultant with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, and is a member of both the United States Olympic Committee's Sport Psychology Registry, and the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Sinclair has served as the Research Coordinator for the Reproductive Psychiatry Units of both St. Paul's and B.C. Women's Hospitals as well as the Director of the Pacific Region's Athlete Services Program for the Canadian Olympic Committee.
She is a Partner with Human Performance International, a management consulting firm dedicated to improving the effectiveness of human resources in both the corporate world and the sporting arena through a variety of diversified training and developmental interventions.
Dana is currently a consultant for many business corporations and several professional sport franchises. Her sport client list includes such organizations as the NFL's Indianapolis Colts, the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers and Seattle Sonics, the WNBA's Seattle Storm, the NHL's Anaheim Ducks, Florida Panthers, Philadelphia Flyers, Vancouver Canucks and Toronto Maple Leafs. Dana also consults with individual athletes in the NHL, PGA, LPGA, MLB and the Royal Canadian Golf Association. She is also the sport psychologist appearing on the hockey reality TV series "Making the Cut".
In addition, she works with a number of Olympic teams and athletes. She attended the Olympic Games in Nagano, Sydney and Salt Lake City in her capacity as the psychologist for a number of Canadian Olympic teams. Dana is a former Captain of the Canadian Field Hockey Team and a member of the Cambridge University Ice Hockey Team. She also served as the Assistant Coach of the Miami University NCAA Varsity Field Hockey Team. Dr. Sinclair is author of the Mental Management Guide "Better Golf".
